Isabel was conceived by her mother in Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family was from Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru a small mining town located in Australia's Northern Territory and Cairns Australia. Along with her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was engaged in drama from the time she was in school. In the following years, she pursued a degree in acting at Queensland University of Technology's the Victorian College of Arts. She never auditioned for roles until she was spotted by her agent in 2002. She was auditioning for a part in Home and Away, 1988. Isabel was chosen to be the face of numerous campaigns, and was also chosen as a the brand's ambassador due to her being an environmentalist and ethically conscious person who is committed to concerns and social justice.
